This was the inspiration sketch for my bowls.

This was the creating process of my bowls during the wet clay stage.

This is the painting progress of my bowl with strawberries on it. I combined red and white to make a light pink color. I originally had the inside of the bowl pink but to add more contrast I painted it red.

This is the painting progress of my cherry pattern bowl. I combined white and green to make a lighter green on the outside. I also painted the middle of this bowl red to add contrast and relate it to the strawberry bowl.

This is the final product of my strawberry pattern bowl. I like the way the colors and pattern turned out. Overall the bowl was very smooth with no rough edges.

This is the final product of my cherry bowl. I liked the way the colors turned out but I wish I was able to add dots to the cup to fill more blank space around the cherries.
Overall, I am very happy with the final result. I related the bowls through the the theme of fruits and the inclusion of red on the inside of the bowl. I decided to play around with size and make the strawberry themed bowl smaller. They relate in size through the contrast in large and small. I am happy with the patterns I used as well as the use of light colors on both bowls. One thing that I wish I could change, and I now know going forward is the the pooling of glaze in the bottom of the bowls. There was some white spots where the glaze clumped and I was unhappy with that. I will apply that going forward in my future work.
